Seven persons―all adults―were hurt in a Saturday morning blast in a public market in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
An improvised explosive device went off near a parking area for motorcycles at Isulan Public Market at 7:01 a.m., according to the police. No suspects have been determined yet.
The injured were identified by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Isulan as Terencio Cagadas, 35; Gerald Cartajena, 28; Nasim Gulano, 29; Jarren Limani Amigo, 24; Niño Biñas Virgo, 28; Jomar Aquino, 31; and Jay Carnaso, 30.
All but one of the victims were being treated at the provincial hospital.
