Motorists now enjoy lower petroleum prices anew after the first batch of industry players announced a slight downward adjustment for the second consecutive week.
Cleanfuel kicked off the downward adjustment on Sunday, 1 September, slashing the price per liter of diesel by as much as 20 centavos and for gasoline by 10 centavos.
Seaoil also announced a rollback of 10 centavos in gasoline and diesel costs, and by 15 centavos for kerosene, while Petrogazz will implement a 10-centavo cut in diesel and gasoline prices.
Seaoil applies the rollback effective 6am today, 2 September, while Petrogazz’s adjustment will take effect at 6am on 3 September.

The rollbacks reflect movements in the international market. On Friday, West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices declined by 2.84 percent or $1.61 to $55.10 per barrel, while Brent Crude dropped by 2.05 percent or $1.24 to $59.25 per barrel.
Year-to-date adjustments stand as a net increase of P4.75/liter for gasoline, P3.35/liter for diesel and P1.40/liter for kerosene.
