When the Golden State Warriors tip off the 2019-20 NBA preseason on 5 October, it will be at the team’s new Chase Center home in San Francisco.
Details of the state-of-the-art sports and entertainment arena have been dropping, including a list of musical acts scheduled to perform there.
Some media outlets visited the new arena and reported on the findings, starting with the scoreboard—and it seems “go big or go home” was the motto for the designers.
At 82 feet and 9 inches by 52 feet and 8 inches—a whopping 9,699 square feet—the Chase Center scoreboard is the largest in the league.
It is made up of 15 total displays. The 74,877 LEDs and 24,959,232 pixels ensure pristine clarity.
