LONDON — The pound slumped almost one percent versus the dollar and euro Wednesday on reports that Britain will seek to extend the suspension of parliament, making a no-deal Brexit more likely.
Britain’s currency slid 0.94 percent to $1.2179, while the euro bought 91.09 pence.
