Kapuso actor and “StarStruck” Season 6 Ultimate Male Survivor Migo Adecer was nabbed Tuesday night in Makati City after injuring two Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) officers in an alleged hit-and-run.
The police report said Adecer was driving along Brgy. Poblacion when he hit the officers riding a motorcycle. Instead of helping the victims identified as Rogelio Formelos Castillano and Michelle Gallova Papin, the actor allegedly sped off.
He was chased by authorities and was cornered along N. Garcia St. Adecer where he initially refused to surrender his license and was under the influence of alcohol, according to the police.
The actor’s lawyer Marie Glen Abraham-Garduque said the actor did not notice he bumped the traffic enforcers’ motorcycle. She said her client is willing to shoulder the victims’ hospital bills.
Prior to the accident, Adecer was caught in a traffic violation in Rockwell Tuesday afternoon for reckless driving.
