The Chief Executive said China also hosts some 300,000 Filipino workers and the Chinese are not complaining about the presence of their guest workforce.
“Just allow the Chinese to work here. Let them work in the country,” the President said during a speech while endorsing his Partido Demokratiko Pilipino bets for the senatorial elections at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna on Saturday night.

The number of Filipino workers in China is still increasing.
There are also undocumented Filipinos working as helpers in some parts of China, mostly in Hong Kong where many of them initially posed as tourists before they obtained work and stayed.
Several months ago, Sen. Joel Villanueva ordered a probe on the influx of undocumented Chinese workers in the country and found they were given tourist visas upon arrival in the country, valid for only 29 days.
They extended these visas for another six months.
But the Department of Foreign Affairs said it issued employment visa to just a few of the 1.6 million Chinese arrivals.
Duterte’s statement to be lenient to the Chinese workers came after he discussed the deportation of illegal Chinese workers in the country.
