NICO Bolzico and Solenn Heussaff are #CoupleGoals.
It’s been said a lot of times that Argentinian entrepreneur/model Nico Bolzico and Kapuso actress/visual artist Solenn Heusaff are #CoupleGoals. Attesting to that are their social media posts containing pieces of advice on how husbands and wives should treat each one or their videos on YouTube showing how they do things together, from cooking, traveling, to simply hanging out at home, or making fun of one another.
But the more kilig things to watch about Nico and Solenn, popularly tagged as the SosBolz couple, are their non-verbal gestures: Their meaningful gaze at each other while speaking (whether one is sharing something serious or a mere joke), how Solenn grins while listening to Nico talk, or the manner by which Solenn hangs her arm/hand over Nico’s shoulder — show that they’re more than just romantic partners, but the best of friends.
Sharing a snippet of how they first met never fails to give each other a good laugh:
Nico: She sent me 33 text messages just to invite me to her birthday then!

Solenn: It’s funny because the story changes every time. You know, the older you get, the more exaggerated the story becomes? It went from, like five messages to 33. So, if you interview us again in five years, he might say it’s 55 (the number of text messages)!
Nico: Yeah, whatever. But what’s true about it is that you messaged me and that you asked for my number first!
Nico and Solenn bumped into each other a couple of times in some events in 2010, after being introduced by their common friend Tim Yap.
Going into their fourth year as a married couple, Solenn stresses that Valentine’s Day is an occasion that they celebrate privately. “We don’t go on, like, a full date,” she says.
To which Nico is quick to say, “We just want to chill and relax at home, just the two of us.”
Furthermore, the 33-year-old Filipina-French star believes that love is not only celebrated during Valentine’s Day but the whole year round.
“In our case, I make sure that he comes home to a ‘home,’ each day. I’m super hands-on with (keeping) our house because I know he’s away from his family in Argentina. So, I make sure that he is very comfortable at home, and that there’s food and chocolates in the fridge,” Solenn shares.
Speaking of chocolates, Nico and Solenn recently collaborated with Swiss chocolate brand Toblerone to create designs for its limited-edition blank packs this Valentine season.
The blank packs allow customers to design the sleeves of their own chocolate bars and personalize their own heartfelt message to their loved one — may it be a lover, a friend, a sibling, a parent or some other people whose hearts they want to touch.
According to Toblerone Philippines brand manager Arlene Amante, “Our campaign is about giving love a lot of thought. With the Toblerone Blank Packs, customers can gift their family, friends, or significant others a present that they have put their heart into making.”
Nico and Solenn’s Toblerone Valentine’s Day Blank Packs come in two designs. The first one features cartoon illustrations of the celebrity couple with their beloved fur baby dog Pochola, while the second one shows colorful caricatures of their two turtle babies Patato and Pechuga, as well as their cat Negroni.
The Toblerone Valentine’s Day Blank Packs also features designs of other Filipino visual artists such as those of Soleil Ignacio, Anina Rubio, June Digan, Raxenne Maniquiz and Louise Dimagiliw.
