The suspect then casually walked towards the exit of the subdivision where he spotted a group of tricycle drivers who were waiting for passengers.
He then opened fire at the group of tricycle drivers hitting Bernales and Miton fatally.
It was at that juncture that the police arrived at the scene, but instead of giving himself up, he opened fire on them seriously wounding two responding cops identified as PO3 Emiliano Pantaleon and PO1 Eleuterio Mina.
