The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) will celebrate its 24th founding anniversary on 14 February, even as the agency gears towards working to further expand and improve its social health insurance services.
With the theme “PhilHealth @ 24: Tungo sa Kalusugan Para sa Lahat,” the office also wants to raise public awareness on social health issues and encourage its partners nationwide to fulfill their roles to ensure their success.
PhilHealth was created in 1995 with the passage of Republic Act 7875, otherwise known as the National Health Insurance Act of 1995.
As part of its celebration, PhilHealth will hold simultaneous road shows entitled “PhilHealth Forward” in Pampanga, Laguna, Cebu and General Santos City on 14 February.
