Malacañang yesterday welcomed the results of the latest survey where President Rodrigo Duterte’s Cabinet received a “good” public satisfaction rating.

According to the poll, 52 percent were satisfied with the Cabinet while only 17 percent expressed dissatisfaction.

“The Palace is pleased to note that the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed the people gave a ‘good’ satisfaction rating to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Cabinet at +35 in December 2018 – the highest rating for the Chief Executive’s official family for the year 2018,” presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo said.

The +35 net satisfaction rating recorded by the SWS in December 2018 is three points higher than the September 2018 rating.

“The satisfactory rating given to the President’s Cabinet certainly is a source of inspiration for us to work harder to give full realization to the commitment of President Rodrigo Duterte of providing comfortable life to the Filipinos,” he added.

Despite the good feedback, the Palace official reiterated the President’s aides must still step up efforts in providing good service to the people. Complacency, according to Panelo, has no room in the Duterte administration.

“As the President constantly reminds us, we are here to serve. Complacency has no room in the remaining three and a half years of the Administration as we marshall all our energies and talents in assisting the President in giving fruition to his single-minded goal of bringing about the desired changes in our society,” he added.

He likewise enjoined all Filipinos to give their humble contributions to achieve unity and continued progress in the country.
