Pulse Asia Research Inc. on Wednesday released the result of its latest survey on senatorial hopefuls for the midterm elections in May.
The result of the survey conducted from 14 to 21 December 2018 showed Sen. Grace Poe as the top choice of respondents. The respondents were asked on that date which senatorial candidate they will vote for and 75.6 percent picked Poe.
Sen. Cynthia Villar follows Poe with 66.6 percent and Sen. Sonny Angara at third place with 58.5 percent.
Taguig Representative Pia Cayetano ranks fourth with 55.4 percent, former senator and actor Lito Lapid at fifth with 49.8 percent and Sen. Nancy Binay at sixth with 46.7 percent.
Also making it to the so-called “magic 12” are Sen. Koko Pimentel with 45.5 percent, former senator Serge Osmeña with 38.8 percent, former senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. with 37.6 percent, Ilocos Governor Imee Marcos with 36.7 percent, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada with 36.3 percent and former police chief Ronald dela Rosa with 35.7 percent.
