There will be scattered rains on various parts of the country today due to northeast monsoon or “Amihan,” the state weather bureau said.
“Amihan” will bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, said PAGASA weather forecaster Meno Mendoza.
The northeast monsoon will also stir light to moderate rains over Visayas.
Meanwhile, the tail end of a cold front will dump occasional heavy rains that can trigger possible floods and landslides in Northern Mindanao and Caraga region.
The rest of Mindanao may experience light rains due to localized thunderstorms.
