After four years of waiting, Miriam Quiambao and husband motivational speaker and author Ardy Roberto are expecting their first child. The former Miss Universe 1999 first-runner up broke the good news on Sunday via her verified Instagram account @miriamq88. She posted a photo of her sonogram and captioned it with a lengthy post.
Quiambao shared that they were “resigned” to the fact that they may have a child through in vitro fertilization (IVF) or adoption. They had the greatest surprise of their lives when they discovered that she was carrying their child at 43.
Miriam and her husband tied the knot in March 2014.
Baby Primo Arellano is only child no more. Iya Villania and Drew Arellano welcomed their second child early Sunday morning, 19 August.
Drew and Iya remained as wacky as ever as they posted in their respective IG accounts, @drewarellano and @iyavillania, their antics and quips while the latter was going through labor and contractions. It was then confirmed that Iya gave birth at 9:44 a.m. through Drew’s post that simply had the word “Rawrr 9:44 a.m.” inscribed on the photo. At around 11 a.m, the proud father of two posted a photo of his newborn and captioned it with his son’s full name: “Alonzo Leon V. Arellano.”
Baby Leon shares the same birth month as his elder brother Antonio Primo, born on 30 August 2016.
GMA-7’s prized family is not moving to rival ABS-CBN but somehow “found” themselves appearing in one of the latter’s top-rating shows. Fans of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera took to social media to allege that the Coco Martin starrer Ang Probinsyano used the wedding photo of the couple and their family picture with their daughter Zia in two episodes of the show. The alleged photos were “altered” with the faces of the show’s stars including Alice Dixson.
THE Dantes’ family photo as seen on Ang Probinsyano. Dixson spoke about the said “incident” during her new show’s recent presscon and said she has no knowledge about it. The actress, however, addressed Dantes and apologized in Filipino if ever the production made the mistake.
Dantes posted about the incident in Facebook. He shared that he has sent a copy of the letter to the production team.
Show runners of the show on Tuesday issued a statement that said there was no “intent to disrespect or offend them.” They said they commissioned a third-party contractor to create the photos and that they are “conducting further investigation to prevent a similar incident from happening in the future.”
