Globe Telecom, through its enterprise information and communications technology arm Globe Business and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) make it easier for individuals and businesses to air their issues and concerns via the 1-DTI (1-384) consumer hotline which is now ready to accept calls.
Globe prepaid and postpaid customers nationwide have the added advantage of calling 1-DTI for free with their mobile phone even without load. The consumer hotline serves as an express connection reaching DTI for concerns as complaints, policy-advisory services and inquiries.
“DTI, as the country’s authority for business and consumer protection, aims to make the 1-DTI consumer hotline accessible for the Filipino people at no cost. We commend Globe Telecom for collaborating with us in making our vision a reality,” said DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez at the hotline launch.
Globe president and CEO Ernest Cu said: “being a prime enabler of the 1-DTI hotline initiative gives us a sense of achievement and responsibility. This pushes us to strive for excellence and commit to our purpose to help build our nation.”
