Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go graced the Mindanao leg of this year’s Bancarera competion spearheaded by Bombo Radyo at Times Beach in Matina, Davao City on Saturday, 18 August 2018.
Go delivered his short message for the participants before the final round of the competition. He also awarded the winners and offered them a free tour of the Presidential Palace and a chance to watch a PBA game in Manila.
Go also requested 10 fiber-glass motorboats to be given to deserving participants who were not able to reach the final round.
Among the winners were Aljed Sapilin of Digos City who bagged this year’s championship title, Sam Bastida of Barangay Bunawan Davao City as 1st-runner up and Kawi Nacas.
