Roxanne Ashley Yu of the Philippines is headed to the finals of the women’s 200-meter backstroke event in the 18th Asian Games with an 8th place finish in the preliminary heats on Sunday, 19 August 2018.
Yu clocked fastest at 2:19:12 in the three heats dominated by China’s Liu Yaxin who posted the best time of 2:09:52 to top the prelim.
Earlier, Yu’s best time placed her second in the first prelim heat where Liu scored her best finish.
