Some Enchanted Evening: Philippine Bar Association (PBA) @127President Rodrigo Roa Duterte joins the Philippine Bar Association (PBA) lawyers, professionals, and other businessmen in the 127th anniversary celebration of the PBA at the Fiesta Pavilion of Manila Hotel in the City of Manila on August 15, 2018.

During the celebration, Atty. Teresita Cruz-Sison, PBA’s first woman president and one of the City of Manila’s five awardees for 2018 as Outstanding Women for Social Relief, delivers her message.

Posted by Presidential Communications (Government of the Philippines) on Wednesday, 15 August 2018 President Rodrigo Duterte and Special Assistant to the President Bong Go joined the celebration of the 127th anniversary of the Philippine Bar Association (PBA) Wednesday night, 15 August at the The Manila Hotel.

Duterte and Go, as special guests, were treated to a musical concert dubbed “Some Enchanted Evening: PBA@127” as part of the celebration.

The PBA is considered the oldest voluntary national organization for lawyers in the country being established on 18 April 1891.

PBA aims to promote active fellowship among its members, strengthen the dignity and ethics of the legal profession and help maintain a strong, trustworthy and courageous jurisdiction.

The organization helps Filipinos by providing legal assistance to the poor and funding assistance to entrepreneurs.
