The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) and the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) yesterday signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to undertake an anti-illegal drugs information campaign for overseas Filipino workers (OFW).
“We have commonality on purpose and aspiration for a drug-free Philippines. With your office partnering with us, we can reach out to Filipinos abroad and it is very important,” DDB Chairman Catalino Cuy said.
CFO executive director Undersecretary Astravel Pimentel-Naik described the MoA as a “firm manifestation of our conviction to keep our overseas Filipinos free from illegal drugs and substance use.”
The two agencies will create modules on drug dependence with emphasis on OFW. NSB
