Investigators of the Manila Police District (MPD) are facing a blank wall on the daring killing of a man by two gunmen riding in tandem on a motorcycle along a busy thoroughfare Sunday evening.
PO3 Marlon San Pedro of the MPD homicide section identified the victim as Alvin Longhas, 29, married, a resident of 14 Admiralty Townhomes in Paranaque City.
The victim was aboard a blue Subaru with license plate XBH 464 when shot at the corner of Taft Avenue and Pedro Gil Street.
The assailants waited for the traffic light to turn green before peppering the victim’s vehicle with bullets and then fleeing on a southbound direction.
Longhas was declared dead on arrival at the Philippine General Hospital.
