Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), the local license holder of global convenience store chain 7-Eleven, opened its first two branches in Nueva Vizcaya.
The stores. located in the municipalities of Bambang and Santa Fe, will serve more than 70,000 residents.
The town of Bambang is a first class municipality while Santa Fe is dubbed the “gateway” to Nueva Vizcaya and the rest of the Cagayan Valley Region.
The opening of the two stores formally signal PSC’s entry in Region 2, specifically in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya.

PSC said in a statement that the opening of the 7-Eleven stores in the two municipalities was in anticipation of progress in Nueva Vizcaya.
“It has a big potential in terms of high store sales, and we are looking into the continuous development of the province with the current presence of commercial banks, other local retailers and food chains,” said Ulysses Borral, PSC Business Development Division Head.
The new branches are seen to spur economic development in various segments in the said areas as these will pave the way for additional business opportunities for entrepreneurs and jobs for residents.
PSC also reported establishing solo brand leadership in the Visayas (Leyte,Tacloban and the rest of the eastern part of the province) and Mindanao (Surigao Del Sur and Norte and Sultan Kudarat).
Furthermore, PSC has also successfully expanded retail operations via a mall-based expansion which further strengthened its relationship among prominent project developers in the country while also establishing 7-Eleven’s unique business flexibility edge over competitors.
As of June 2018, PSC operates a total of 2,386 store networks, with 1,262 franchise-owned and 1,124 corporate-owned stores.
