Calixto-Rubiano files COC for Pasay mayor

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano on Monday, 4 October filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor as she seeks reelection in the 2022 polls.

“Marami pa po tayong kailangang gawin at tapusin para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan lalo na sa pagpapaunlad sa kanilang buhay sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng hanapbuhay, at sana ay pagbigyan nila ako at pagkatiwalaang muli,” Calixto-Rubiano said.

Calixto-Rubiano will run under the ruling PDP Laban. She was accompanied by her family including her husband Egay, eldest daughter Dr. Nicole.

She filed her COC at the local Commission on Elections (Comelec) office at the 2nd floor Entertainment Hall of SM MOA.

‪⁨Her brother, Pasay Lone District Rep. Antonino Calixto, also filed his  own candidacy seeking reelection.
