Portrait of Bernie V. Lopez

Bernie V. Lopez

Bernie V. Lopez (pen name eastwind) is firstly an adventurer, having backbacked across Europe and North Africa about 18,000 kms. for 3 long years, from which he draws experiential wisdom for his writings. He was escaping New York, which he called “a spiritual desert”, looking for himself by drifting. He walked 80 kms in 7 days on a pilgrimage from Lisbon to Fatima, asking the Lord what to do with himself. He learned the answer after 20 years - to be writer. He has a blogsite with inspirational focus. He was also (retired) an independent TV docu producer, and a professor of development communications. His writings for Daily Tribune focus on geopolitics and spiritual inspiration.
