Walang Pasok: Class suspensions on 24 July due to Kiyapo, intensified habagat

(July 23 2026) Cloudy skies hovered Metro Manila seen from Quezon City on Thursday July 23 2026, PAGASA release update of Tropical Cyclone KIYAPO, slightly accelerates while moving Northwestward over the Philippine Sea East of Northern Luzon. The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction. Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1. The highest Wind Signal that may be hoisted throughout the passage of KIYAPO is Wind Signal No. 2. However, the hoisting of Wind Signal No.3 is not ruled out should KIYAPO intensify into a severe tropical storm while traversing the area of Batanes-Babuyan Islands. Photo/Analy Labor
