Rotational brownout, posibleng magpatuloy dahil sa mataas na demand sa kuryente

Asahan pa ang pagpapatuloy ng rotational brownout sa mga susunod na araw.

Ayon kay Atty. Cynthia Alabanza, tagapagsalita ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, dulot ito ng kasalukuyang sitwasyon ng ilang planta ng kuryente na sumasailalim sa unplanned maintenance shutdown.

Sinabayan pa ito ng matinding init ng panahon na nagdulot ng mas mataas na konsumo at demand sa kuryente.

Dagdag pa ng opisyal, sa mga nakalipas na linggo ay nalampasan na rin ang konsumo ng kuryente kumpara noong 2025, dahilan upang maramdaman ang pagpalya ng transmission system at ilang planta ng kuryente.
