Since 2026 began, people have come to me nonstop, wanting their charts read. While this is a normal pattern with me every start of the year, the numbers have doubled, resulting now in a waitlist that is somehow stressing me. I have also found myself in a number of groups, being asked to speak, because of the question, “Where are we going and why is everything so wild?” One doesn’t need to know astrology to note that our world is changing at warp speed!
Everyone is trying to make sense of our world. The underlying emotion is anxiety, an existential one that is hard to put an exact name to. After all, with the world going into a tailspin of madness and chaos, everywhere one looks there seems to be nothing but conflict, crisis and volatility. In my talks, I always state that while the world on one level is constantly shifting, breaking up and getting more fantastic, there is another world being revealed behind the veils.
There is the thinning of the veil that is happening in our world today. All that is hidden (both good and bad), that have played behind the veils, is now being seen for what it is. Reality is cracking open to the question: what really is reality? What is real? Which is the illusion? But the beautiful thing happening is so many people are waking up, in groups and on a global scale. So this is exciting.
I missed my column deadline last week, which was talking about a most important astrological cosmic transit in our lifetime. But since the effect will be longer-lasting, then it’s still worth the sharing.
Last weekend, a very unique cosmic energy shift was happening in the sky. We crossed a threshold point, a point from which there is no looking back again ever. This is epochal and a big deal.
It was the conjunction of two opposing planets: Saturn (the planet of karma, that which gives form) and Neptune (the planet of illusion, dreams and visions that represents the intangible). They normally meet every 35 to 36 years (with the most recent one in 1989 that resulted in the fall of Berlin Wall, start of the Cold War, revolutions across eastern Europe and dissolution process of Soviet Union).
But what we should have highlighted last weekend was the space in which these two planets meet: zero degree of Aries, the beginning point of a world axis. We haven’t seen this kind of energetic blending together of Saturn and Neptune in 0 degrees Aries since approximately 6,000 years ago. And yes, that’s the period when humanity started to learn agriculture!
The storyline of this weekend’s conjunction or blending is that the intangible becomes tangible. This zero-degree position is the naval point, a genesis, that beginning point of all possibilities opening up. So in our world, there is a RESET happening right now. All that is past is taken away and wiped clean and the field of possibilities opens up. It is from this point that we begin to create something totally new.
Zero is not “nothing.” This point of creation is like the fullness of the void from where ideas for creation emanate. It is the anchor from which we begin to move toward a direction of creation from unmanifest potential. And creation is always of something new coming into existence.
So this is why we cannot, from hereon, think everything is “same-same.” There is something really special happening now despite all the noise outside. And this time can be deeply transformational in how we perceive our lives moving forward. Something will be ignited. I believe that we can maximize this special time and meet it with a quiet witnessing of everything that is arising just so we can consciously participate in what is emerging. And write our own new story. A new one. Not the one that we have been carrying around per our traditional upbringings or the way society has morphed into.
Which brings me to focus on inner work again. As we move through this reset, we must do so with a clarity of what is truly authentic in our being. To get to our authenticity means we need to peel away those conditionings, fears and external expectations so our choices reflect our real values and inner experience.
I often guide the people I counsel to do inner work: journaling and reflecting; mindful practices like meditation, shadow work to watch how our minds judge, envy or admire which often reflects a disowned personal trait; find a creative expression like art, music or even free movement dancing – anything that can make you work to understand and work with the “performing ego” present within each of us.
Today we are seeing many healing therapy groups, workshops and community circles coming together. There is also a rise of people wanting to be healers, or taking up healing modalities so they can work on themselves or form or join a group. The search for authenticity process can be helped within a group, guided by someone holding space and allowing the process to just happen.
Some things I personally recommend include: Jungian analysis which is the search for your deeper identity by integrating the unconscious part of yourself — like shadow work and dream analysis), trauma and body based work like psycho-spiritual practices of movement, yoga, quigong and meditative martial arts (this supports the opening of the central nervous system latched on to survival patterns and helps you read signals from your body to help reshape your self-beliefs); existential therapy where you can explore meaning, freedom and responsibility especially when questioning your life direction or identity. I find that forest walks in small groups or solo are perfect for this. Or sitting to stare at nature.
These processes will enhance the reset of this Saturn-Neptune in zero degrees Aries conjunction point. By identifying what is truly ours, our authentic identity (which the sign of Aries rules), we pioneer new things from within. We can dream our dreams of what was seemingly impossible (Neptune) and now can ground to make them real in our lives (Saturn). This reset button makes the impossible possible as we ground the higher energies into our world. We have no other choice. So let’s do it.
