First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos visited the Subic Township project on Tuesday, a modern community under the flagship Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, which offers quality, affordable homes in the heart of Subic Bay.

“A new community is rising in Subic — built on President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of creating dignified, livable spaces where Filipino families can truly grow and thrive. This township will provide 1,400 low-cost housing units — not just houses, but real homes designed around what families genuinely need,” Mrs. Marcos posted on her Facebook account.

The township is designed to provide safe spaces where children can run and play freely, recreational areas where families can bond and create lasting memories, and a daycare center to support working parents.

“Low-cost housing is not just about a roof overhead — it’s about security, stability, and opportunity. Projects like this transform daily life. They reduce worry. They create community. They give families a fair chance at a better future,” the First Lady said.

“Excited to see this vision come to life and to watch many Filipino families proudly say, ‘This is our home,’” Mrs. Marcos said.

During the inspection, Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling showed the First Lady and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. the progress of the ongoing construction of a housing project in Olongapo City.

Aliling, together with SBMA Chairman Eduardo Jose Alino, briefed Mrs. Marcos on the Subic Township Project, which consists of four 17-story buildings that will provide housing for at least 3,000 persons under the President’s flagship program.

The First Lady made the brief stop at the Expanded 4PH project site after gracing the Lab for All event at the Subic Exhibition and Convention Center earlier.

Joining Aliling during the inspection were Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles and other DHSUD officials and staff members.
