Jollibee surprised thousands of commuters across the country with the launch of its upgraded Yumburger, now featuring a bigger beef patty and more dressing while retaining its P45 price tag.
The fast-food chain staged surprise giveaways at major transport hubs and shopping centers, drawing crowds of office workers, students and passersby eager to try the improved version of the brand’s iconic burger.
Activities were held at One Ayala in Makati, The Infinity in Pampanga, Paseo de Santa Rosa in Laguna, Parkmall in Cebu and Rizal Park in Davao. At each location, Jollibee distributed 2,000 free Yumburgers and 4,000 vouchers for an exclusive in-store combo offer.
The company said the upgraded Yumburger delivers a more “Langhap-Sarap” experience, highlighting the enhanced flavor from the larger patty and added dressing while remaining affordable.
“Filipino commuters have always loved the Jollibee Yumburger, so we thought this was the perfect way to bring them a little extra joy,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “Our Yumburger is not just a burger, but a part of Filipino life and cherished memories. With this glow-up, it is more Langhap-Sarap, giving comfort and happiness in every bite while staying affordable for everyone.”
The Yum mascot also appeared at each venue, posing for photos and engaging with commuters during the surprise giveaways.
In line with the campaign, Jollibee released a new film showcasing the upgraded Yumburger. Customers are encouraged to share their #GlowUpYUM moments on social media for a chance to be featured on the brand’s official channels.
The nationwide rollout underscores Jollibee’s efforts to refresh a long-standing menu favorite while keeping it accessible to consumers.
