ACMobility rolls out ChargeFleet

DT

ACMobility has introduced a new platform for businesses that are starting to shift their vehicle fleets to electric.

Called ChargeFleet, the system focuses on one common headache for companies with multiple drivers. Charging payments often get scattered across different apps, cards, and reimbursement forms. For fleet managers, that means more paperwork and less visibility over expenses.

ChargeFleet brings those payments into one shared digital wallet. A company can load charging credits into a single account, then assign them to different drivers. Managers can monitor usage from one dashboard instead of chasing receipts at the end of the month.

The company said many transport groups and corporate fleets have been asking for a more structured way to handle charging costs.

While interest in electric vehicles has grown, daily operations can still feel messy. Payments go through different channels. Reimbursements take time. Tracking who charged where and how much is not always straightforward.

Under the new setup, once a business signs up, ACMobility assigns the charging credits to a fleet manager. The manager distributes those credits to drivers.

Drivers access and use them through the partner app Evro. The process removes the need for drivers to pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed.

Carla Buencamino, head of mobility infrastructure at ACMobility, said the platform was built to fill a gap for enterprise clients that need a professional management tool.

She said the company wants to support transport groups and corporate fleets that are serious about electrifying their operations.

ChargeFleet is offered as a prepaid product. Companies can purchase charging offers through the online ChargeFleet Store using GCash or a credit card.

There is no formal application process required to access the offers, which lowers the barrier for firms that want to test the system before rolling it out at scale.

For companies weighing the move to electric vehicles, infrastructure and cost control remain top concerns. ChargeFleet attempts to address both by pairing physical charging sites with a centralized payment tool.
