BYD honors top dealers

BYD Philippines called its dealers to Okada Manila earlier this month for its 2025 Dealer Conference. The program focused on performance results and plans for the year ahead.

From just two locations in early 2024, the brand now counts 79 outlets across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

That growth set the tone for the evening. Executives thanked dealers for pushing the brand into more cities and for handling the surge in interest in electric vehicles.

BYD Philippines managing director Bob Palanca told partners that the expansion would not have happened without them. He pointed out how the network stretched from Metro Manila to key provincial hubs in just a short span.

Much of the program focused on performance awards.

BYD Glorietta took the Sales Achiever Award for posting the highest overall retail and fleet sales, along with strong customer satisfaction results. The Volume Seller Award went tothe top contributors per region.

BYD Global City led Metro Manila. Pampanga topped Luzon. BYD Cebu North led in the Visayas. BYD Davao ranked first in Mindanao.

Individual sales consultants were also recognized. Winners came from BYD Manila Bay for Metro Manila, BYD Bacoor for Luzon, BYD Cebu for the Visayas, and BYD Cagayan de Oro for Mindanao.

Fleet sales performers were named as well. BYD Manila Bay placed first, followed by BYD Global City and BYD Valenzuela.

Customer feedback played a role in another set of awards. Dealerships with the highest sales satisfaction scores included BYD Quezon Avenue for Metro Manila, BYD Pangasinan for Luzon, BYD Negros for the Visayas, and BYD Gensan for Mindanao.

After-sales teams were not left out. BYD Balintawak earned recognition for service intake and also produced the Service Manager of the Year.

BYD Pampanga received the Parts Excellence Award. BYD Iloilo produced the Service Advisor of the Year, while BYD Negros was cited for warranty processing.

BYD Greenfield stood out in technician performance and technology support. BYD Valenzuela earned a warranty recognition.

Special awards covered marketing, innovation, and compliance. Pampanga received citations for innovation and operational excellence.

BYD Cebu Central was recognized for local dealer launch efforts and compliance. BYD Cebu North was cited for a local model launch.

BYD Quezon Avenue earned awards for marketing and customer experience. BYD Fairview was named the top AutoDeal BYD agent.

BYD country head Adam Hu spoke about BYD’s global numbers, noting more than one million overseas new energy vehicle sales in 2025. He said the Philippine market remains part of the brand’s wider push as it grows its electric lineup locally.

The conference closed with a look toward 2026. The company said it plans to expand further and strengthen its position in the new energy vehicle segment.
