Games today:
(Ynares Center-Antipolo)
4 p.m. — Galeries Tower
vs Farm Fresh
6:30 p.m. — Cignal vs Nxled
Only one team will go down the mountainous Rizal province with an unblemished record when unbeaten squads Cignal and Nxled cross paths in a marquee match in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference today at the Ynares Center-Antipolo.
The league-leading Super Spikers stake their hold of the lead against the Chameleons’ side, whose immaculate record is also put on the line, when they meet at 6:30 p.m.
Banking on familiarity and chemistry, Cignal is on a three-game roll, beating Galeries Tower, Choco Muchoo and Farm Fresh to take its lofty spot in the standings.
Wingers Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos have been providing the spark on offense for the Shaq delos Santos-mentored squad, averaging 18.3 and 15.3 points per outing, respectively.
Gandler dropped 25 points as the Super Spikers shackled the Foxies, 25-17, 26-24, 20-25, 30-28, last Tuesday for the franchise’s hottest start in years.
But Delos Santos reminds his team to remain grounded and on their feet as Nxled is no ordinary foe.
“We have to take care of what we have and where we are right now. And then, improve on the things that we need to address,” Delos Santos said.
The Chameleons are also on a roll, winning over Farm Fresh and Capital1 for a share of the second to third with idle PLDT.
Nxled has its version of explosive wing duo with three-time Most Valuable Player Brooke Van Sickle and Myla Pablo and a young gunner in Lyann de Guzman.
Van Sickle is averaging 17.5 points, Pablo with 17.0 markers and De Guzman with 10.0 per game, making the Chameleons a very formidable team.
From a winless team last conference, Nxled is now looking like one of the teams to beat.
“It’s a roller coaster ride for everyone. But at the same time, we know that we have a big target on us,” Chameleons Italian mentor Ettore Guidetti said.
Meanwhile, Galeries Tower tries to sustain the momentum of its first win when its takes on listless Farm Fresh at 4 p.m.
The Highrisers upset Reinforced Conference runner-up ZUS Coffee, 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 15-10, last week in Montalban for a 1-1 win-loss slate tied with Creamline.
Head coach Aying Esteban is pinning his hopes on Erika Deloria and Gayle Pascual, who both had 18 points the last time out, along with Aiza Pontillas and Jean Asis for Galeries Tower to emerge victorious once again.
The Foxies are at the bottom with a 0-2 card they share with Akari.
