BAGUIO CITY — Visitors to the popular Igorot Stone Kingdom may soon catch a glimpse of a 2023 Rolls-Royce Cullinan previously owned by the controversial Discaya couple.
The cultural theme park, represented by owner Pio Velasco, acquired the luxury SUV at a public auction on 11 February 2026. Velasco secured the vehicle with a winning bid of P29,026,000, outbidding television host Willie Revillame.
The vehicle was sold through a government-regulated asset disposal process and drew significant public interest due to its high-profile ownership and premium status.
The 2023 Rolls-Royce Cullinan is regarded as one of the most luxurious SUVs in the world. Named after the largest diamond ever discovered, it is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine engineered to deliver what the brand calls “waftability,” or an exceptionally smooth and quiet driving experience.
Its interior features hand-stitched leather, genuine wood veneers, and the signature Starlight Headliner, which uses fiber optics to simulate a night sky on the ceiling. Despite its luxury design, the Cullinan is equipped with advanced all-wheel drive and air suspension, allowing it to handle varied terrain.
The Igorot Stone Kingdom, meanwhile, is a sprawling cultural landmark in Baguio City built as a tribute to Cordilleran indigenous heritage. The site is known for its intricate stone walls and towers constructed using traditional rock-layering techniques reminiscent of the ancient rice terraces.
The potential display of the ultra-luxury SUV within the heritage park presents a striking contrast between modern global opulence and enduring highland traditions.
