Pahuway is a Bisaya/Hiligaynon word meaning to rest, take a break, or pause, often used to signify a need for relaxation and self-care.
Part-time philosophy educator Jequexer Legaspi Garlejo discussed the Talakayang Pahuway, focusing on pahuway or the power of pausing, as well as the importance of taking a break.
San Jose City public servant Banjo Z. Munar discussed the meaning of padayon or showing up and moving forward, emphasizing the importance of continued forward movement and development despite the pressures of life.
Licensed psychologist and psychometrician Ylona Veronica Aben-Bayod discussed puhon or trusting in perfect timing, the importance of trusting the coming of the “right time.”
The Balik Sama: A Shared Table Experience was held where all employees took part in a boodle fight.
In the afternoon, activities such as Tagpuan, Kainan sa Pahuway, Palaro, and music jam handog ng PHilMech Himig Anihan, gave workers a chance to enjoy, connect with other workers, and relax from office buzz.
