Veteran actress and producer Sylvia Sanchez marked a milestone for Nathan Studios as she formally welcomed a new group of artists under the company’s newly launched talent management arm, highlighting a vision rooted in inclusivity, empowerment, and purpose-driven storytelling.

During an emotional contract-signing ceremony, Sanchez addressed the artists, their families, and supporters, emphasizing that the event was more than a formal agreement.

She underscored the company’s belief that talent goes beyond labels and limitations, particularly in championing artists with Down syndrome who were part of the film I’MPerfect.

These artists… are full of raw skills, creativity, at isang klase ng authenticity na bihirang-bihira. Totoo, buo, at galing mismo sa puso.”

Sanchez recalled how the studio believed in the artists long before their breakthrough, even before cameras, lights, and applause.

“We believed in you even before the cameras rolled—before the lights, before the applause.”

That early faith, she said, was rewarded when I’MPerfect made history at the Metro Manila Film Festival, earning major recognitions including Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Cast Ensemble.

Beyond artistic achievements, Sanchez stressed that the new management arm aims to nurture artists not only as performers, but as individuals whose stories and voices matter.

“We see your potential. We see your hard work. And most of all, we believe in you.

The ceremony also included the signing of Ice, winner of the “Time to Dance” competition on ABS-CBN, reflecting Nathan Studios’ broader commitment to discovering and developing diverse talents.

“Although we are primarily a production company, itong contract signing namin ay paraan namin para ma-honor ang artists namin—to watch them grow from one project to the next.”

Remaining grounded, Sanchez assured the artists that while no promises of instant success were being made, genuine support would always be present.

She described the contracts as symbols of mutual trust and paid tribute to the families who stood behind the young talents.

Closing her message, Sanchez expressed pride and optimism for the journey ahead.

“Welcome to Nathan Studios. This is just the beginning and we are so, so proud to be on this journey with you.”

With the launch of its talent management arm, Nathan Studios under Sanchez’s leadership signals a move toward more inclusive and meaningful representation in Philippine entertainment, reinforcing the idea that success is strongest when built on belief, respect, and shared dreams.
