Through years of steady work and unwavering dedication to the artisanal food industry, particularly in the craft of chocolate making, Raquel Choa has built a name that now resonates far beyond Cebu.

What began as a local pursuit has grown into an international presence, with her creations gaining recognition in Europe and the United States. This consistent commitment to quality, innovation and craftsmanship has earned Choa the widely recognized title of “Chocolate Queen of Cebu.”

Her recognition did not happen overnight. It came from long hours of refining techniques, testing flavors and maintaining standards that meet both local and international expectations. While trends in the food industry come and go, Choa has remained focused on producing chocolates that reflect both skill and authenticity.

The title “Chocolate Queen of Cebu” is not simply about prestige but the years of discipline and hands-on-work that have shaped Raquel Choa’s standing in the industry. That long journey of dedication reached a meaningful personal milestone as she recently marked her 50th birthday.

The celebration was more than just a birthday gathering — it was a moment of reflection, gratitude and shared memories. Those present were not merely guests, but witnesses to her story, people who stood by her during periods of growth, uncertainty and perseverance. Their presence reflected the strong relationships Raquel has built over the years, grounded in loyalty, mutual support and genuine connection.
