Toyota Antipolo dealership underway

Toyota Motor Philippines has started work on a new dealership in Antipolo, Rizal, adding another location to its growing network as demand continues to rise east of Metro Manila.

The facility is being developed with Toyota Taytay, Rizal Inc. and will stand along L. Sumulong Memorial Circle in Barangay San Jose.

According to Toyota, the site is meant to make sales and after-sales services easier to reach for customers in Antipolo and nearby towns, where daily travel to Metro Manila remains part of routine life.

Once finished, Toyota Antipolo, Rizal will cover 12,160 square meters and rise across three floors with a mezzanine. Plans include a showroom that can display up to seven vehicles and a service area with 37 bays.

Services will cover express and periodic maintenance, body and paint work, and general repairs.

Toyota executives and local officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony on January 26. Among them was TMP president Masando Hashimoto, who said he has long hoped to see a Toyota dealership in Antipolo.

He added that the new site will strengthen the brand’s presence in Rizal and give customers more convenient access to support.

The project also carries local weight beyond cars and service bays. Toyota Antipolo president Zellyn Lim Diaz said the dealership will bring jobs to the area, starting with construction work and extending to long-term roles once operations begin.

She said the goal is to create stable employment and learning opportunities for families in the city.

Antipolo continues to grow as a regional center, driven by retail, housing, tourism, and small businesses.

As the capital of Rizal and a gateway between Metro Manila and the eastern towns, the city sees heavy daily traffic along routes such as Marcos Highway and Ortigas Avenue Extension.

The added location means shorter trips for regular maintenance and repairs for customers. It brings another large business investment tied to long-term operations rather than short-term activity to the city of Antipolo.

Toyota has not yet announced an opening date, but construction is now underway.

When doors open, the Antipolo dealership will join Toyota’s wider network across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, which continues to expand alongside the country’s growing vehicle base.
