The legal camp of Michelle Dee has firmly denied allegations linking the beauty queen-actress to an alleged assault and illegal detention, calling the claims “physically impossible” based on documented travel records.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Michelle’s lawyer, Maggie Abraham-Garduque, presented flight details showing that her client was out of town on the date in question. According to the records, Michelle flew to Iloilo early in the morning of 17 January and only returned to Manila close to midnight.
“We watched the interview of the driver of Rhian Ramos, where allegations of mauling, torture, and illegal detention for three days were raised,” Abraham-Garduque said. “We find this physically impossible and incredible.”
The lawyer pointed out that the complainant himself claimed Michelle left the condominium around 6:00 a.m. on 17 January — hours before her documented flight out of Manila. “Records would show that Michelle Dee was in Iloilo the whole day of 17 January,” she stressed. “She only returned to Manila on 18 January.”
Abraham-Garduque added that additional records and public appearances further support Michelle’s whereabouts during the period cited in the complaint. “There are plane tickets, photos, and posts showing she was at Miss Iloilo and with other people at that time,” she said. “For us, it is impossible that the alleged three-day detention and mauling could have happened.”
The lawyer also noted that by 19 January, the complainant was already at a police station for inquest proceedings, further contradicting the timeline alleged.
As the issue continues to unfold, Michelle Dee’s camp maintains that documented evidence clearly disproves the accusations — standing by their assertion that the claims simply do not add up.
