The Provincial Government turned over two infrastructure projects to the local government of Minalin on 29 January 2026, boosting both the delivery of government services and health services to the people of the town in Pampanga.
At Barangay Sta. Rita, Vice Governor Dennis Pineda led the turnover of the newly renovated Minalin Multipurpose Convention Center (MMCC) after its inauguration and blessing. Pineda said that this is a “promise fulfilled” made to the people of Minalin.
Present during the ceremony are Senator Lito Lapid, TIEZA Chief Operating Officer and former Governor Mark Lapid, Congresswoman Anna York Bondoc, Board Member Maynard Lapid, 4th District Board Member Kaye Naguit, members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Minalin, as well as the barangay chairmans.
Minalin Mayor Philip Naguit expressed his gratitude for the project that was funded by the Provincial Capitol. As a sign of gratitude, the municipal government erected a marker for the P15-million fund allotted for the renovation of the MMCC.
During the turnover ceremony, BHW e-bikes and free maintenance medicines were also given to the senior citizens of Minalin.
The new facility will serve as a venue for various community events, programs, and services for the Minaleños.
The second infrastructure project that was turned over to the local government of Minalin is the Dialysis Center, providing a nearby facility that would provide medical services to dialysis patients of the said town.
The new facility negates the necessity for dialysis patients to travel out of town since the local government itself is now capable of providing health services at the new Dialysis Center at Barangay Sta. Catalina.
Senator Lapid allotted a P10-million budget for the construction of the Dialysis Center, while the local government underwent a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the St. Marina Margarita Health Care Inc. in procuring 12 dialysis machines and other necessary equipment.
Currently, there are 15 patients utilizing the Dialysis Center while an on-going profiling of 46 patients are underway for their transfer to the new facility.
