ALABANG — The 38th Mango Tee Golf Invitational is set to tee off this Saturday at Alabang Country Club, kicking off an eight-day festival of golf, camaraderie, and corporate hospitality that will run until February 7.
Known as one of the South’s sweetest golf traditions, the memberguest showcase will transform ACC’s fairways into a buzzing arena of competition and social flair. The tournament will follow a 36-hole Modified Stableford format, with teams made up of an ACCI member and a guest, divided into four brackets — Classes A, B, C, and D — based on the member’s handicap.
Action on the course begins early with 6:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. shotgun starts for morning and afternoon groups, promising full fields and gallery-like energy from tee-off to the final putt.
This year, Mango Tee 38 is turning up the excitement with one of its biggest prize pools yet, including a BMW iX1 and a BYD Sealion as hole-in-one prizes, plus a Mr. Freeze golf cart on display at the club. A Fujimac Luxury Pod massage chair — promising full-body relaxation and entertainment — is also up for grabs, adding a lifestyle touch to the championship-week prizes.
Organizers say the mix of luxury cars, high-value raffle items, and up to P1 million in cash prizes has been made possible through the strong support of the club’s partner brands and friends, with more corporate sponsors expected to activate on-course and during the nightly socials. The club board emphasizes that the invitational is about giving back through an elevated playing experience, from course setup and daily entertainment to the climactic awards night that caps the festival.
This year’s Mango Tee enjoys backing from Petron, Infinity, G&W Clubshares, Department of Tourism, Purefoods, San Miguel, Coca-Cola Philippines, Southlinks Estate, Rockwell, Thunderbird, Jewelmer, Topserve Service Solutions, Malbon, Newport World Resorts, and Omni Source, among others.
