4PH housing project opens in Bulacan

‘Today marks an important milestone — the turnover of these housing units in Bocaue. This moment is more than just handing over keys. It is about providing our fellow Filipinos with safe, orderly, and dignified homes.’

More Filipino families are moving closer to having homes of their own as the government opened another housing project under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

On Saturday, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), together with the Pag-IBIG Fund, inaugurated the Bocaue Bulacan Manor — a modern, condominium-type housing project — in Barangay Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan.

The inauguration marked another milestone in the government’s push to provide safe, accessible, and dignified housing for Filipino families. DHSUD officials said they expect a sustained rollout and awarding of housing units this year under the expanded program.

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Pag-IBIG Fund chief executive officer Marilene Acosta led the ceremony, joined by other DHSUD officials and local government representatives.

Around 1,200 individuals are expected to benefit from the initial phase of the project, with the number rising to about 12,000 once all the buildings are completed.

Designed as a modern, condominium-style community, Bocaue Bulacan Manor will eventually feature 11 mid-rise residential buildings with more than 4,000 housing units. The project is part of the vertical housing developments under the Expanded 4PH Program, which aims to widen access to affordable housing across the country. Tower 1 has been completed, with 364 units ready for turnover to qualified beneficiaries.

During the event, Pag-IBIG Fund also distributed Notices of Approval to qualified applicants — bringing them one step closer to owning homes they can truly call their own.

Beyond the housing units, the project is designed as a complete, people-centered community. Planned amenities include a swimming pool, basketball court, parks and playgrounds, nurseries, a clubhouse, a multi-purpose building, parking spaces, commercial areas, and a tricycle terminal.

“Like other developments under the Expanded 4PH, this project comes complete with amenities. Following the directive of President Marcos Jr., we are not just building sturdy houses but inclusive and sustainable communities,” Aliling said.

The project is open to qualified beneficiaries even if they are not residents of Bocaue. Interested Bocaue residents may coordinate with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for guidance and assistance in the application process.

DHSUD Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles said the project represents more than just the completion of buildings.

“Today marks an important milestone — the turnover of these housing units in Bocaue. This moment is more than just handing over keys. It is about providing our fellow Filipinos with safe, orderly, and dignified homes,” he said.

“Under the leadership of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino or 4PH Program has a simple goal: to give every Filipino family a home they can truly call their own. More than concrete, roofs and walls, these homes are foundations for dignified lives — helping build stronger families and communities,” Robles added.
