Malacañang has issued proclamations declaring special non-working days in a province, four cities, and four municipalities to allow residents to fully participate in their respective occasions and enjoy the celebrations.
Proclamation No. 1129 declared 10 February 2026 a special non-working day in Bacolor, Pampanga, in celebration of Bacolor Day.
Proclamation No. 1130 declared 21 February 2026 a special non-working day in Marinduque province for the observance of Araw ng Marinduque.
Proclamation No. 1131 declared 22 January 2026 a special non-working day in Guiguinto, Bulacan, for the Halamanan Festival.
The three proclamations were signed by Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, by authority of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., on 13 January.
Through Proclamation No. 1132, Malacañang declared 17 February 2026 a special non-working day in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay, for the celebration of Araw ng Kabasalan.
Proclamation Nos. 1133 and 1134 declared 15 January 2026 and 7 May 2026 special non-working days in San Pablo City, Laguna, for the Coconut Festival and the city’s Charter Anniversary, respectively.
The three proclamations were signed on 14 January.
Meanwhile, 2 February 2026 was declared a special non-working day in Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte, for its 112th Araw ng Katipunan, and in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, for its 314th Founding Anniversary, under Proclamation Nos. 1135 and 1139, respectively.
Proclamation No. 1136 declared 6 February 2026 a special non-working day in Consolacion, Cebu, to mark the municipality’s 106th Founding Anniversary.
Under Proclamation No. 1137, Candoni, Negros Occidental, will observe a special non-working day on 11 February 2026 to allow residents to participate in the Dinagyaw sa Tablas Festival, which honors settlers who transformed dense forests into fertile land.
Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, will observe a special non-working day on 3 February 2026 to mark its 76th Founding Anniversary, as stated in Proclamation No. 1138.
All proclamations were signed by Executive Secretary Recto on 15 January.
