Are you one of the millions who flew with Cebu Pacific (CEB) last year?

The budget airline closed 2025 with a record 26.9 million passengers, nearly 10 percent more than in 2024, showing strong demand for its low-cost flights.

In a report on Thursday, the Gokongwei-led air carrier disclosed that December alone saw 2.7 million travelers, the airline’s highest-ever monthly traffic.

Domestic passengers grew 8.1 percent to 20 million, filling 84 percent of available seats.

International traffic, on the other hand, jumped 14 percent to 6.9 million, but with faster seat expansion, international flights were less full, with December’s load factor at 79.4 percent.

“CEB concluded 2025 on a strong note, achieving its highest-ever monthly passenger traffic with 2.7 million passengers in December. For the full year, the airline carried a record 26.9 million passengers, representing nearly 10 percent growth year-on-year,” CEB CEO Mike Szucs said.

“Delivering these record numbers despite challenges such as fleet reliability issues, supply chain disruptions, and global geopolitical tensions underscores the strength of our low-cost model and the agility of our operations,” he added.

Szucs said the airline expects to maintain this growth this year, supported by the delivery of seven new aircraft as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.

CEB currently offers the widest network in the Philippines—flying to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations. Its 100-aircraft fleet is among the youngest in the world.
