Abba’s Orchard and Ayala Land subsidiary Vermosa formalized a partnership in December for the development of the Abba’s Orchard Vermosa Campus, marking the establishment of the school’s largest K–12 Maria Montessori campus in Luzon and reinforcing Vermosa’s positioning as a master-planned community anchored on education, wellness, and sustainable urban living.
The agreement goes beyond the opening of a new school, reflecting a long-term commitment by both parties to build learning environments that support values-driven, future-ready communities.
The Vermosa campus will offer a complete K–12 program rooted in authentic, child-centered Montessori education, providing continuity from early childhood through senior high school. It will also introduce the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) program on an Abba’s Orchard campus. Founded by Dr. Maria Montessori, AMI is widely regarded as the global benchmark for Montessori education and teacher training.
Abba’s Orchard said the campus is envisioned to eventually host the country’s first AMI Training Center, strengthening the Philippines’ capacity for authentic Montessori practice and professional development.
Development of the campus will follow a structured timeline covering design, regulatory approvals, construction, and intensive in-house teacher training to ensure operational readiness and long-term sustainability.
The project adds to a growing list of recent developments within Vermosa, an Ayala Land estate spanning parts of Cavite and Laguna. Over the past few years, Vermosa has seen the expansion of lifestyle and sports facilities, including the Vermosa Sports Hub, residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, and mixed-use developments designed to support active living, accessibility, and community-building.
These initiatives align with Ayala Land’s broader strategy of integrating education, recreation, and essential services within walkable, future-ready estates.
The contract signing was attended by Kristin Raval-Ofilada, Vermosa Project Development Manager; Nona Torres, Vermosa Senior Project Development Head; and Abba’s Orchard founding directors Joseph Christopher N. Barrameda and Maria Angelica P. Barrameda.
Both parties said the partnership underscores Vermosa’s evolution not just as a modern township, but as a community investing in long-term human capital development through quality education.
