Maya has unveiled its 2026 Savings Calendar, bringing back its visual savings concept a year after introducing what it described as the world’s first savings calendar that allowed users to track daily interest earnings.

The updated edition features three Filipino celebrities—Julia Barretto, Maris Racal, and Jericho Rosales—each representing a different saving mindset through individual calendar designs.

Maya said the 2026 calendar builds on last year’s concept by offering users a clearer and more engaging way to see how daily interest contributes to their savings over time.

Rosales described saving as a way to create meaningful experiences. “You can never bring back time,” he said. “I make it a point to save for exciting things that I’ll always treasure.”

Barretto, meanwhile, said she focuses on planning ahead and ensuring her money is always working toward her goals. “I plan ahead so I can reach my goals and feel financially secure,” she said.

For Racal, visibility is key to staying motivated. “I feel happy and motivated because it’s so easy to see my money grow every day,” she said.

Maya said its savings products are designed to make progress visible and accessible. Its Maya Savings account offers interest rates of up to 15 percent per annum, credited daily, while its Personal Goals feature allows users to set up to five savings goals with an initial rate of 4 percent per annum that can increase to as much as 8 percent per annum. The bank also offers Time Deposit Plus, which allows users to lock in funds for three, six, or 12 months at rates of up to 6 percent per annum.

The company said the calendar aims to encourage consistent saving by making growth easier to track and understand, regardless of individual financial priorities.

Maya said the 2026 Savings Calendar will be available through its digital platforms, as the company continues to promote saving as a daily habit rather than a long-term abstraction.
