In Daily Tribune’s office test, installation was quick, and palm-vein registration took only seconds. Up to 50 palm prints and 100 fingerprint profiles can also be stored and managed within the app.
For added security, the EasyKey 720 offers a digital PIN keypad for a personal six to 12 digit personal PIN code, as well as two compact key cards and a manual key as a backup in case of technical issues. The device also comes equipped with a built-in CCTV camera, enabling users to see who is at their doorstep anytime, anywhere. The Philips Home Access app sends real-time notifications whenever someone rings the doorbell or opens the door.
Inside the home, the system features a bolt lock activated by a switch. Power comes from a proprietary rechargeable battery, with a charger included in the package. A full charge lasts up to three months and takes only three hours.
