ING Hubs Philippines capped 2025 as one of the global bank’s most capability-rich and reliable sites, underscoring its expanding role in ING’s worldwide operations.
“2025 was a defining year for ING Hubs Philippines,” said Country Manager Hazel Zaide Delos Santos. “We raised the bar across our capabilities, our culture, and our impact—proving that world-class can be built from Manila.”
The hub accelerated digital transformation this year, automating key processes that now take seconds instead of half an hour—reducing risk and freeing teams from repetitive work. Employees piloted new AI tools for content drafting and data analysis, maintaining accuracy through human oversight.
“Automation didn’t replace judgment—it gave time to use it,” one team member shared.
A strong commitment to learning also defined the year. More than 5,200 employees completed 120 new skills programs covering digital fluency, technical expertise, and leadership. Global upskilling initiatives—including FutureSmarts and leadership programs INSPIRE, IGNITE, and LEAP—prepared teams for evolving industry demands.
Early-career initiatives such as the PEGA Residency, Graduate Trainee Program, and university partnerships expanded the talent pipeline, while Citizen-Led Automation allowed non-coders to create digital solutions that improved operational efficiency.
ING Hubs Philippines continued to earn accolades for workplace culture. In 2025, the company received:
• Gold for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Silver for Workplace Mobility at the HR Excellence Awards
• Company of the Year at the PFIP Bahaghari Awards
• Great Place to Work® certification for the third time
• A ranking among the Overall Top 3 Graduate Employers in the Philippines by Prosple
These recognitions reflect a workplace built on trust and inclusion, supported by employee resource groups such as Rainbow Lions and Lioness PH. The company’s attrition rate of 8.7 percent remains well below the 14–18 percent benchmark for global capability centers.
“The learning programs gave me confidence to try new tools,” a graduate trainee said. “I’m solving problems I wouldn’t have touched last year.”
ING Hubs Philippines also leads its industry in employee benefits, including healthcare coverage for parents up to 80 years old, inclusive family benefits, and flexible work options.
Sustainability and community engagement were major milestones in 2025. The organization achieved a 23.5 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions—more than double its annual target—after transitioning to 100 percent renewable energy in all offices.
Employees also helped divert 8,900 kilograms of textile waste, planted over 20,000 trees, and donated 95 units of blood through the Philippine Red Cross. The hub supported public education with 150 donated laptops, conducted coastal cleanups, and built a child-friendly reading nook.
Through its internal ESG tracking tool, teams collectively helped avoid or remove 1.17 million kilograms of CO₂, exceeding yearly goals.
As 2026 approaches, ING Hubs Philippines is expanding its expertise in technology, risk oversight, and transformation, including the responsible adoption of generative AI. Its long-term House of Strategy—anchored on People, Transformation, and Sustainability—continues to guide capability growth.
The organization said its focus remains simple: invest in people, embrace technology, and create impact in Manila and across ING’s global network.
