Filipinos seeking help from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) can now expect quicker, more transparent transactions as the agency rolled out a fully upgraded online ticketing system that tracks inquiries and complaints in real time across all its services.
The SEC has launched the enhanced iMessage platform, a web-based system for managing and processing public inquiries, complaints, incidents and requests.
Accessible on SEC website
The platform, accessible on the SEC website, centralizes submissions and provides a unified workflow for assigning, monitoring, and resolving tickets.
iMessage now allows users to monitor their requests live and includes a direct messaging feature that connects them with the specific divisions or departments handling their cases.
“Streamlining our requirements and processes has been one of our top priorities as part of our commitment to further improving the ease of doing business in the country and elevating the quality of the public services we deliver,” SEC Chairperson Francis Lim said over the weekend.
“iMessage helps the SEC process requests, inquiries, reports, and complaints in a more organized and efficient manner, allowing us to deliver our services to our stakeholders without delays while promoting transparency and accountability in every step,” he added.
Log in Electronic SEC Universal Registration Environment
To use iMessage, the public must log in through their Electronic SEC Universal Registration Environment accounts and select the service they wish to avail of before completing the required form.
Users can check the status of their tickets under the tickets tab, where each request is listed. By clicking the ticket reference number, they can view the entire history of the transaction.
A reply function also allows users to send messages and attach documents directly to the concerned SEC office.
The system covers services offered by all SEC offices and departments at its Makati headquarters and extension offices in Baguio, Ilagan, Laoag, Tarlac, Lipa, Legazpi, Iloilo, Cebu, Bacolod, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Koronadal, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Butuan.
