CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police in Central Luzon have arrested six of the region’s most wanted individuals in a series of operations conducted from 1 to 4 December, according to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
The arrests, carried out across several provinces, targeted suspects wanted for serious offenses such as rape and carnapping, highlighting the effectiveness of intelligence-led policing, PRO3 said.
Among those arrested was a 32-year-old man, ranked seventh on Central Luzon’s most wanted list, who was apprehended in San Simon, Pampanga, on 4 December on a no-bail warrant for rape. The region’s fourth most wanted individual was arrested in San Marcelino, Zambales, on 2 December and faces multiple warrants for violations of the Anti-Carnapping Act and estafa, including a case with no recommended bail.
Police also arrested a 62-year-old man, ranked eighth on the regional list, in Apalit, Pampanga, on 1 December on a no-bail warrant for rape. On the same day, a 39-year-old man, listed as the third most wanted individual in Central Luzon, was arrested in Casiguran, Aurora, on two warrants—one for qualified rape, with no bail recommended, and another for acts of lasciviousness, with P200,000 bail recommended.
In Meycauayan City, Bulacan, a 26-year-old suspect ranked fifth on the region’s most wanted list was arrested on 1 December on a no-bail warrant for statutory rape. Another arrest was made in Morong, Bataan, where a 43-year-old man, listed as the 10th most wanted individual in Central Luzon, was apprehended the same day under a no-bail warrant for rape.
“These suspects were tracked, located, and arrested through intelligence-based police operations,” PRO3 Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said.
“These arrests send a clear message to the victims of these crimes: we have not forgotten you, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served,” he added.
PRO3 said the arrests are in line with the Philippine National Police’s Focused Agenda, particularly “Enhanced Managing Police Operations,” supported by the “3Ps Strategic Direction—Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.”
The regional police office said warrant enforcement and intelligence-driven manhunt operations will continue throughout December, focusing on apprehending remaining most wanted persons across Central Luzon.
