A Swiss Christmas in Tagaytay

Its calm is consistent. Its sceneries remain elegant through all seasons. Crosswinds Tagaytay values luxury as a means of living in harmony with nature.

As if the season itself had released a little magic, Tagaytay’s air had become sharper, chilly, crystalline and fragrant with pine.

At Crosswinds Tagaytay, the earth briefly seemed to be enveloped in its own velvet silence as laughter spread wider across the hills and lights shimmered longer in the dusk. For its renowned Trail of Lights, this Swiss-inspired community had once again turned into a bright Alpine village.

Fireworks

With lights tumbling down the hills, melodies winding through pine trees and tiny pleasures flowering in every corner, the yearly extravaganza at the Lausanne Open Grounds lit up last 15 November, coming to life like a Christmas story.

Families assembled at the S’mores Station to watch marshmallows melt into warm, golden bliss beneath the cool evening sky. The air erupted into a spectacular fireworks show that blanketed the mountains in jewel-colored colors after rising with exuberant performances and vibrating with chorale harmonies.

Afterwards, Tagaytay’s slopes were transformed into a transient, snow-kissed dream by the Snow Blast, which consisted of gentle flurries floating in the night air.

Where Christmas lingers beyond December

What sets Crosswinds apart is how the magic never truly ends.

With 35,000 pine trees growing in unison, the124-hectare estate that felt like ‘Switzerland reinvented’ within reach of Manila, and mountain air that cleaned the mind, life here moves with a peaceful, opulent poetry even after the holiday season. Although Tagaytay had always been a haven from the city, it has evolved into something more permanent within Crosswinds, a cadence of refinement and tranquility woven into daily existence.

The countryside is peppered with chalet-style residences, which creates a lovely European skyline with their sloped roofs and timber accents. Private havens with deeper nights and milder mornings are provided by hidden enclaves. With popular locations like Windmill Lausanne, Napa, Balustre and Joe’s Tavern softly glowing beneath the pine trees, the estate’s eating village brings to life the coziness of a charming European street.

Set on a 2.8-hectare enclave, Alpine Villas has formed a stretch of mid-rise, chalet-style towers that captures the creative soul of Crosswinds.

A retreat that has become a way of life

Crosswinds Tagaytay has introduced an elevated selection of homes, each designed with purpose, elegance and a subtle sense of grandeur, for people who had imagined a life molded by tranquility and sophistication. While spacious lots encourage families to create their own Swiss-inspired havens, move-in-ready homes strike a mix between rustic Alpine beauty and modern ease.

The estate’s low-density condominiums are now the preferred option for people who want privacy, tranquility and the reassuring presence of nature without compromising style.

Alpine Villas is one of these options that stands out. It promises a life surrounded by beauty and tranquility, not just an opulent condominium community. The villas, which are tucked away at the estate’s entrance, offer well-thought-out, compact apartments that are supplemented by CCTV in common areas, round-the-clock security, seamless connectivity and well-managed building systems. Every element has been planned to guarantee convenience, comfort and peace of mind, including concierge service, attentive staff and committed security officers.

Drawing inspiration from one of Switzerland’s most captivating cities, Basel had been envisioned as a space where creativity could flourish and where connection to nature felt effortless and ever-present. Like a work of art known for its depth, contrast and perspective, this newest tower is set to complete the Alpine Villas’ evolving natural masterpiece.

Alpine Villas’ exquisitely designed towers — Bernese, Blanc, Brienz and Biel — are perched 582 meters above sea level and provided sweeping views of Crosswinds’ exclusive community: Rolling hills, pine forests, open green spaces and a vibrant commercial strip with distinct restaurant concepts.

Beyond the tower, generous green spaces expand the sense of openness, cultivating a tranquil atmosphere that typifies Alpine living.

Set on a 2.8-hectare enclave, Alpine Villas forms a stretch of mid-rise, chalet-style towers that captures the creative soul of Crosswinds. This is where architecture harmonizes with the land, where inspiration feels abundant and where each day unfolds like a quiet poem written in pine-scented air.

While the Trail of Lights only lights up the hills during the holidays, the actual wonder of Crosswinds lasts much longer. Its calm is consistent. Its sceneries remain elegant through all seasons. Crosswinds Tagaytay values luxury as a means of living in harmony with nature.
