The Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and his partner Ion Perez are officially the newest ambassadors of Beautéderm’s Belle Dolls — a collaboration that goes far beyond beauty, skincare, and brand partnerships. At the launch event, Vice, Ion, and Beautéderm CEO and founder Rei Anicoche-Tan shared a deeper purpose behind their partnership: a shared commitment to providing educational opportunities for deserving Filipino youth.
Vice revealed that he and Rei are currently supporting three scholars together — students who are already close to completing their degrees. It’s a cause close to Vice’s heart, rooted in his own life story. “I was also a product of free education when I was young,” he recalled. “A Japanese benefactor — whom I never met — sponsored my studies. I knew his name and his old address in Japan, but when I tried to find him, that place was no longer residential.” His gratitude for that anonymous kindness continues to drive his desire to pay it forward.
The Belle Dolls collaboration also highlights another meaningful aspect of Vice and Ion’s journey: their advocacy for health and wellness. Vice shared how Ion played a major role in helping him make better lifestyle choices, especially at a time when exhaustion, sleepless nights, and frequent consumption of fried foods and pork were taking a toll on his body. “I was often tired and sleep-deprived. I wasn’t getting any younger, and my eating habits weren’t the best,” Vice admitted. “I appreciated how Ion guided me step by step toward a healthier lifestyle.”
As Vice and Ion step into their new roles as brand ambassadors, they expressed deep appreciation for Beautéderm and Rei Tan’s trust—especially in choosing an LGBTQ+ couple to represent a major product line. For Vice, this visibility is powerful. “We are seen,” he said. “Thank you, Rei, for believing in us.”
