Unique challenges

According to Duterte, every vice president has served in their respective unique times and challenges and through personal dedication, has expanded the capability and mandate of the OVP.

“They [past vice presidents] proved that true power can be achieved through public service,” she said.

“In recognition of their contributions, we invite you to participate and take this history to heart,” the VP added.

Duterte urged the public to visit OVP’s pop-up exhibits in major cities across the country to witness the stories, documents, and artifacts that show the invaluable contribution of former vice presidents.

“Our 90th anniversary celebration is also a launchpad for the future. We are laying the foundational groundwork to ensure the Office of the Vice President remains strong, stable, and effective for the next century,” she said.
